24/7 Packages

First Group Dynamics provide a range of connectivity solution to home user and business designed to increase efficiency whilst reducing present costs. These products include:

• 56K Analogue
  An ideal solution for home users/ small business, in areas where ADSL is not available at present. Product benefits include un-metered access, domain name registration as well as email and web hosting.
• 128K ISDN
  We believe that businesses in areas where ADSL is not available incur higher connectivity charges and are not as efficient as those with ADSL, which is why First Group Dynamics provide 128K un-metered ISDN connection. Included in the package is a fully configured and managed router, which can be accessed by our technicians for maintenance and fault purposes via remote access.

ADSL Connectivity

ADSL Broadband provides the total connectivity package, enabling home users and businesses to budget internet related costs to the penny. ADSL Broadband includes domain name and email hosting, low contention rate and up to 2Meg connection. As ADSL is activated on an analogue line, in most case this allows ISDN or additional Analogue lines to be reduced thereby reducing further costs.

SDSL Connectivity

SDSL is available only in the centre of cities and other heavily populated areas right now, and gives speeds in excess of those available on Leased Line for a lot less cost.

Leased Line

First Group Dynamics also provide Leased Line with speeds between 256k and 6Meg. Leased Line delivers unrestricted bandwidth, giving immediate fast access with the flexibility to upgrade as your requirements grow.

Multi Proticol Layered Service (MPLS)

First Group Dynamics has the capability to use latest technology providing site connections via standard IP routing equipment that requires little or no modification. MPLS eliminates the routing decision for all information across the core network from the Provider Edge (PE) router on one side to the PE router on the other.

  MPLS provides a number of customer benefits over existing backbone networking technologies. These include:
  • Virtual Private Networking
    MPLS supports Virtual Private Networking (VPN), which provides inherent security and separation of traffic for all customers, as well as support for differential Quality of Service levels to address the specific requirements of customer applications.
• Quality of Service
  MPLS technology contains the mechanisms by which customers can be offered different service levels. Traffic can be prioritised based upon source, destination or application and receives appropriate service guarantees and separation from other traffic.
• Performance
  MPLS enables large networks to be simplified, which in turn enhances the speed of delivery of all services. Coupled with Quality of Service and Traffic Engineering features, performance levels are consistent with those required by most commercial applications.
• Flexibility
  As MPLS accepts 'native' IP information, customers may access it using a wide variety of connection types and speeds. This includes Dial, Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), Leased Line and Ethernet access, via a range of speeds from 64Kbps (Dial access) through to 1000Mbps (Ethernet). Depending upon the access type and speed, many different charging models have emerged, such as per second billing for Dial access or distance independent tariffs for some types of fixed circuits. The strength of MPLS lies in its ability to combine one scalable and feature rich technology with a highly flexible menu of access types. This allows customers to match their corporate network to the requirements of their budget and applications and not the reverse.

  Dedicated Access provides a dedicated circuit from your local area network to our Points of Presence (POP).This ensures that your access is dedicated exclusively to you.
• A single all-inclusive fee
  Connection to Dedicated Access is provided for a fixed annual fee, which includes internet and telecommunication line costs. By removing the unpredictability of your total bill, Dedicated Access provides the full benefits of connectivity while enabling you to budget in advance.
